I am offering professional quality oboe reeds for sale. I make these reeds with the same care and precision as the reeds I used in my 28-year career as Principal Oboe with the Oregon Symphony.

My reeds are all wound at 73mm on a 47mm tube. I use a Gilbert #1 shaper tip, and take great care in overlapping each reed correctly. From my years of experience playing Principal Oboe in a major orchestra I've learned the value of making a beautiful sounding reed that is not only free-blowing, but also projects without the player working too hard. Oboe playing should be enjoyable!

A major influence as my individual reed-making style evolved was my teacher, John Mack, who is known as one of the world's experts on every aspect of the American-style oboe reed.
